I know about as much as you about this. I do not, however, know remotely what you mean by 'Displosable Renderers'
I do know that I had an issue with StandardTransitions.CreateDXTKey(...); which was a function in sample 2 that didn't exist in my dll.
I thought I had an outdated dll. but eventually realized that the tutorials were 10+ years old, and I had a newer dll.
My resolution was to poke through the available functions in the dll and select StandardTranstions.CreateKey(...) which was essentially identical to the older function.
My point: your dll probably is actually too new, and Displosable Renderers are probably already somehow integrated with a different name.
As for different dll releases, I have absolutely no idea.
